Anchor Aquatics is a New, UK Online Aquarium Products Shop
Our family run, independant business is based in Hayle, Cornwall.
We supply the UK mainland with aquarium products - aquariums, equipment, medications, decorations and food for your home aquarium. All these are delivered quickly to your door.
Our experienced, friendly team will always go the extra mile to provide you with a positive shopping experience.

Our Story
After we were married, over 30 years ago our neighbour gave us a small 30 litre tank he was throwing out. We set this up with a heater and small filter and stocked it with different tetras, artificial decorations, sand and so on.
That was it, we were hooked!
We then progressed to a 150 litre tank and added Catfish, Tetras and Gouramis. Information was limited, there was no internet available back then, and fish keepers’ often had to learn the hard way.
A handful of books and magazines existed and we used to raid the local library for updates.
Over the years we have used most heaters, filters, lighting, foods and medications available at the time, some better than others…
Moving house several times our fish hobby has gradually expanded. We have been breeding fish and selling to local stores for years - We cannot remember a time without fish being prominent and water changes are a daily feature in our lives - have been for years!
We supply all the dry goods listed on our website, and are constantly adding to both stock levels and the range of goods available.
We only source products and equipment from reputable and highly rated suppliers. Many examples of these items we have used and are still using in our display tanks.
Our website is relatively new so we are frequently adding new products and ranges to all categories.
Finally
Due to high running costs we have decided to stop selling live fish and our fish room has been closed down.
This does however give us a great opportunity to concentrate on expanding and improving our range of dry goods and equipment.

We are passionate about home fish keeping and aware of the pleasure - and often challenges - that this wonderful hobby can bring to people of all ages.
